San Diego Children's Choir to Perform New Work

I am happy to announce the premiere of a new work of mine, a patriotic musical tribute commissioned by the San Diego Children's Choir in honor of San Diego's vibrant military community. The choir will be over 100 voices accompanied by percussion, organ and the brass quintet Westwind Brass. The performance is 3pm Sunday, 31 May 2015, Copley Symphony Hall, downtown San Diego.

Larry Nominated for a 4th Emmy®

Larry has just received his fourth Emmy® Award nomination, this time for Best Original Score for the feature film “Under the Boardwalk: The Monopoly Story.”

Kevin Reynolds Wins Silver Medal Skating to Larry's "Excelsius"

Canadian skater Kevin Reynolds earned his silver medal at the 2014 Sochi Olympics on February 9, 2014, skating to Larry's title score for Excelsius.

Larry has now received a Global Music Award for this triumphal theme, and is currently nominated for same in the Hollywood Music in Media Awards.

First Palomar Film Music Workshop Scheduled for June of This Year

“Witness 11” Nominated for HMMA Award

Larry's score for “Witness 11” was a nominee in this year's HMMA Music in Visual Media Awards for best score in the Indie category.

“Cats Dancing on Jupiter”

Recently finished the score for the hip and sexually charged thriller Cats Dancing on Jupiter, starring Amanda Righetti (Captain America, The Mentalist) and directed by Jordan Alan.

“Straw Dogs”

 

Larry has finished his score for Straw Dogs, a Sony/Screen Gems release directed by Rod Lurie. Starring James Marsden, Kate Bosworth, Alexander Skarsgård and James Woods. Wide release date is September 16, 2011.

Emmy Win

Larry just won his second Emmy. This one for best original score for the short subject film Residue. A dramatic tale about the U.S.'s early involvement in Cambodia. This now makes three nominations and two wins.
